Project Details

Sightlife, founded by the Northwest Lions Foundation for Sight and Hearing, is the largest eye bank in the United States and a leading provider of corneal transplant material throughout the world.

Located on the fourth floor of Vulcan, Inc.’s LEED® Silver Alley 24 project, their new offices and laboratory incorporate sustainable design strategies and give the organization a bold new look to match their ambitious mission, cutting edge research, and global brand.

Featured in the space: a medical laboratory, transplant evaluation facility, eye bank cold storage, training room with integrated audio-visual systems and teleconferencing, Femtosecond laser (FSL) installation for experimental research, administrative offices, conference facilities, and freestanding aluminum partition system allowing for natural cross ventilation, natural lighting, and future space planning flexibility.
