Project Details
Studio Meng Strazzara recently completed a new state-of-the-art 450-seat performing arts theater for the internationally recognized performing arts program at Woodinville High School in the Northshore School District.
Specifically designed with student access and education in mind, all lighting and scenic elements are fully within reach of students, allowing the technical and creative elements of scenery, lighting and sound to be appreciated and developed. Students and staff can operate a majority of lighting system features without having special training or access to the theatrical gear in the control booth.
The educational theater is specifically designed to support the teaching process for acting and technical theater. Sightlines from audience to stage and back are configured to enhance communication and visual/aural feedback.
