Position Overview
Our ideal Architectural Designer is creative and motivated to support multiple projects. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of public and commercial projects, gain experience in all project phases, and explore your professional interests in a supportive environment. This is an immediate, full-time position based in our Seattle office for entry- to mid-level candidates.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Architects, and other team members to deliver practical, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing solutions
Participate in all phases of project development, from project initiation through project close-out
Solve problems, meet deadlines, and have fun
Minimum Qualifications
Architecture degree from an accredited program
Professional experience working for an architecture firm
Microsoft Office familiarity
Autodesk Revit familiarity
Active listening and clear communication skills
Organizational and time management skills
Collaborative mindset willing to contribute to the design process
Strong work ethic and ability to take ownership over tasks
Preferred Qualifications
Graphic design capabilities
3D rendering and/or animation capabilities

$50,000 - $80,000 annual salary

In this role, you will apply your architectural and interpersonal skills to create lasting, positive impacts in our communities, neighborhoods, and region. We are looking for growing leaders who know how to build successful teams by highlighting strengths and bolstering deficiencies. This is an immediate, full-time position based in our Seattle office for mid- to senior-level.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Principals, Project Managers, and other team members to deliver practical, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing solutions
Direct and/or delegate all phases of project development, from project initiation through project close-out
Directly communicate with clients to meet their needs and deliver beyond their expectations
Participate in business development activities such as networking, client development, and proposal creation
Create and maintain documents such as drawings, models, and construction documents
Prepare design packets, master use permit (MUP) applications, and presentations
Research products, vendors, and means and methods
Contribute to client and design team meetings
Coordinate with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs)
Interface with contractors by participating in construction administration
Solve problems, meet deadlines, and have fun
Minimum Qualifications
Architecture degree from an accredited program
5+ years of professional experience working for an architecture firm
Licensed architect
Experienced in all phases of project development, from project initiation through project close-out
Working knowledge of building codes, materials, methods, jurisdictional review processes, and technical specifications
Microsoft Office proficiency
Autodesk Revit proficiency
Active listening and clear communication skills
Organizational and time management skills
Collaborative mindset willing to champion the design process
Strong work ethic and ability to take ownership over the design process
Preferred Qualifications
Education and/or public facilities experience
Skills in mentorship and guidance
Experience with alternative delivery methods such as Progressive Design-Build (PDB), Design-Build (DB), and/or General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM)
Additional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), and/or Leadership in Energy Efficient Design (LEED)
Participation in professional organizations such as American Institute of Architects (AIA), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and/or Association for Learning Environments (A4LE)
An active industry network of clients and colleagues
Additional software experience such as, Autodesk AutoCAD, Trimble Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, Enscape
