A challenging site in a busy neighborhood has inspired an innovative design solution for this new mixed-use apartment complex located in the rapidly growing Pike/Pine neighborhood.
The 153,396 SF building is located directly next-door to an additional mixed-use residential building that was recently constructed, and adjacent to a number of popular coffee shops, galleries, bars, restaurants, and a cherished neighborhood urban spa- “Hothouse” that will be integrated into the building design.
The complex includes 6,500 SF of retail, 136 units, and 130 parking stalls. The building is designed to integrate with the surrounding buildings in the neighborhood. Modern materials and glazing at the street façade are utilized to create an urban loft/warehouse aesthetic. The building setback and unique materials link the residential entrance to the streetscape.
