Project Details
Located in the Northgate neighborhood of Seattle, this new multi-family residential community is well-positioned for those seeking a pedestrian lifestyle.
Sitting along Roosevelt Way, the Owl is within walking distance to shopping, entertainment, bus and transit lines. The new Northgate Link light rail extension is less than 1 mile away and provides residents ease of access, with a projected travel time of 14 minutes to downtown Seattle.
Helping to transform this largely commercial streetscape into a bustling neighborhood, a positive and safe pedestrian experience is the design goal at the street level. Residents above will serve as an extra layer of “lights on” security to the pedestrians on Roosevelt Way NE. Aiding this goal, the project incorporates significant outdoor plaza spaces along the perimeter and at the streetscape, encouraging resident gathering and increasing visibility.
An array of unit types including studios, urban one-bedrooms, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units will seek to accommodate a diverse mixture of tenants. The mixed-use building includes live-work units and amenity space facing Roosevelt Way NE. Four levels of residential units sit above the ground level. Underground parking and significant bike storage areas are provided for tenant use.
