It’s been a long three years watching Victor Steinbrueck Park undergo a complete makeover outside our office windows, but a couple of weeks ago the park was reopened and we are delighted to see this city greenspace come back to life.

This park has given downtown residents, visitors, and workers a place to rest and enjoy the scenery for over forty years. The recent renovation adds trees and landscaping, new benches and tables, and a new connection to the Overlook Walk - the final stage of a massive project to connect the Pike Place Market to the Waterfront with pedestrian-friendly pathways. We’re excited to see the park being used again, bringing energy and life to this plot of green in the Emerald City. and to have a place to eat our lunch or get a bit of fresh air between meetings.
